Welcome to HyRide!
A Connecticut Hydrogen Transit Vehicle Development Project
The Greater New Haven Transit District (GNHTD) has undertaken an exciting demonstration program to explore the performance and commercial viability of hydrogen fueled transit bus technology in South Central Connecticut.
Sponsored by GNHTD and backed by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), this project is expected to result in the reduction of emissions and threats to public health by providing a zero-emission transit service in the greater New Haven area.
